In this rendition of the winged celestial beings Yoram Raanan paints the Cherubim with their faces to one another, as described in the Book of Exodus. In this canvas? the Cherubim are depicted as representing the relationship of love between God and His people. The celestial color of blue is used as the theme of the painting? with specks of white in the background to represent the completeness and purity of God.
